Seafaring Mutriku

The town of Mutriku hides one of the most well-preserved old quarters on our coast. Declared a Monumental Site, it guards historical and artistic houses and palaces which recall the histories of important families and the feats of great Basque sailors, but also those of anonymous fisherman and energetic women who lived around the port. We’ll stroll through the streets and discover some of the history of the Basque Coast’s seafaring towns.
